Vern and I last year made one of the best decisions we could have made. That decision was to have CMI build our new home. We chose to build with CMI because for the first time when meeting with a builder we felt that “COY” truly listened to our needs and wishes and that never changed through out the entire process. You all made the entire process so easy and so much fun! Dear Coy, “Thank You” We just wanted to let you know how much we love our new home.
In 2014 we built our dream home with Coy Mullenix and CMI Construction and we had an excellent experience. From the first question to the very last detail Coy is attentive, honest, passionate, and always present to help along the way. One of the big fears in building a house is the cost and where the money goes but from the first dollar Coy was open, honest and transparent with the expenses. We moved in last year and Coy is still as available and helpful today as our first meeting to discuss building our home. Our home is beautiful and we have Coy and the team at CMI to thank for their hard work and dedication to making sure our dreams came true.
“We had an idea, came up with a plan, but CMI Construction made it a dream. Coy and his team were fantastic to work with during our planning and new home construction. CMI offered insights during the process to help us get the most out of our original designs and put our minds at ease by making every bid and change completely transparent. The finished product is nothing short of fantastic and quality is more than we were expecting. This is our forever home and CMI made it possible!”
“Our homebuilding experience with Coy was somewhat atypical in that I too was working on the job daily. This presence allowed me the advantage to witness and/or adjust anything in real time. Several of my main prerequisites when looking at the builder/building included: strength of construction, integrity and efficiency, craftsmanship, material quality, time schedule, and attention to detail. Throughout the build Coy met or exceeded our expectations to the point where I told Coy he would one day walk away from the job where he and I would call it “finished…no punch list”. Coy left the job without a punch list.
My wife was so pleased with the planning, coordination and flow of the build that she is ready to build again. If and when we do that, Coy would again be our first contact for a contractor.”
“From considerations of home placement on the lot through window choice, insulation package options, HVAC equipment choice and much attention to detail…Coy and I thoroughly analyzed energy demands throughout the design and construction of our new 2010 built home. The result of comparing energy use the final 27 months in our former 2400 square foot home to the past 27 months in our new 3800 square foot home reflects a modest 6% increase in KWH usage with a dynamic 53% decrease in gas therm usage.
Our new home increased our finished square footage by 50%…..we can live very well with those energy use numbers.”
